At CAWRA, we believe in the value of education. We offer engaging and informative tours of our facility to community members, schools, and local organisations, providing a first-hand look at the recycling process.
During these tours, visitors can observe our advanced machinery in action, learn about the importance of proper recycling habits, and understand the significant impact of their efforts on the environment. Our educational programs not only enhance community awareness but also foster a culture of sustainability that benefits current and future generations.
The facility features an elevated viewing platform, allowing safe, up-close observation of the MRF in operation. This platform runs the length and width of the building, providing a wide range of perspectives for tour groups of up to 25 people at a time. The facility is also designed to be accessible for wheelchair users and people living with disabilities.
